From the time Carolyn was thinking of career options, she was drawn to the field of health care. Wanting to be a part of helping others achieve optimal health and well-being is what ultimately led her to working as a massage therapist.

Carolyn draws on her diversified experience of massage therapy, advanced training in sports massage, world travel, extensive work in the hospitality industry, and having developed effective treatment plans for her clients as a Dermalogica skin care therapist to help her understand her clients and their health goals. As a registered massage therapist, she applies her passion for anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics, and integrates these with the aim of achieving holistic health for her clients.

Carolyn enjoys being able to treat and work with a wide range of clients, from all age groups, with varied concerns. Whether dealing with specific injuries, chronic over-use syndromes, mobility issues, general stress management, or a myriad of other concerns falling within the scope of practice of massage therapy, she approaches each client with compassion, always striving to attain measureable and long-term results for each individual.

Outside of work, Carolyn enjoys outdoor activities such as cycling, canoeing, and hiking. She also enjoys musical and artistic endeavours, as well as yoga and kickboxing. She likes to revisit her studies in medieval philosophy and classical history, and attempts to improve her language skills in French, Spanish and German.
