Frank's career as an RMT has been years in the making. As a teenager he began training in massage therapy, and also was introduced to the practice of meditation, which intrigued him so that he went on to study the Cognitive Sciences. He completed research on developing the brain through meditation, earning a degree with high honours in Psychology and minor in Philosophy.

While in university, Frank secured employment as a fitness advisor at Carleton Athletics. Having been a workout fanatic from the age of twelve, he found great joy in sharing his passion and knowledge of strength training, yoga, and aerobics, and completed certification as a Personal Training Specialist with the Canadian Fitness Professionals Association.

Venturing into the fitness industry, Frank soon realized his greatest strength was in nurturing others toward a state of well-being. He returned to massage therapy, entering the intensive program at Algonquin College and after two amazing and rewarding years, graduated from the program with honours. His research and treatments largely focused on correcting structural imbalances and peripheral nerve entrapments.

Frank enjoys working closely with his clients to provide a thoughtful and fulfilling massage experience. With a deep appreciation for the unity of the mind and body, and over twenty years experience in strength and conditioning, Frank draws from his broad knowledge to deliver a truly holistic treatment. He is attentive to his clients’ needs and inquisitively explores impairments to their roots for the best chance of achieving resolve. Ever eager to add breadth to his skill set and depth to his practice, Frank has completed training in Thai Yoga massage and is delighted to be Body Poets’ resident Thai massage therapist.

Frank views massage not only as a clinical treatment, but as an organic and evolving performance. For him massage is a dialogue with the body that demands active listening and conscientious responding. He feels perfectly at home at Body Poets where he is excited to share in celebrating the art of wellness. In his spare time Frank finds great satisfaction in creativity, most commonly expressed through composing music, painting, writing, photography, and cooking.
